'Fraid not--there never was an official video or record done of the
concert. In fact, I recall that the press quizzed Bob Geldof about the
risk of bootleggers making money off of illegal videos and recordings of
the show, and Geldof replied that they couldn't be bothered about it,
really (I'm paraphrasing here, of course!) Some folks thought the signal
should have been scrambled, etc., and shown on a premium cable channel.
Instead, it aired on broadcast and basic cable--a total free-for-all for
folks with VCRs. And guess what? Over the years, I have seen _very_ few
Live Aid bootlegs! Only the Led Zeppelin reunion, and U2's set, seem to
have made their way to audio bootlegs, and I've only seen the odd video
boot of various bands here or there. Did no one have a VCR back then?
;-) (Not me! Hell, I didn't even have *cable* - I watched U2's set on a
portable black & white TV! =:P )

Your best bet would be to get a copy from another fan...
