A unique feat of radio showmanship

Hi, Wirelings!

While everybody is telling their stories of purchasing 'Best Of', I wish to
share with you a totally different story.

We have in Romania this radio station, ProFM, who has this guy, Andrei. He's
not a DJ, more a talkshowman, and he decided to end his 5 years long series
of shows called 'Midnight Killer', where people would call and talk about
everything and anything, with an around-the-clock marathon where he would do
all the shows of one day's programme. He started at 11 PM on November 1st
and ended at 11 PM on November 2nd.

Well, I would've told you about it anyway, because I don't think there are
many such performances, but there's a bit of U2 content in it. In one of the
shows, called 'ProFM Jukebox', he played 'Sweetest Thing 98' and it was the
first time I heard it on a Romanian radio (maybe it was played before, but I
never heard it) and then he mentioned the release of 'Best Of' and called U2
'megaweighty guys' and 'makers of history'.

And the point Andrei tried to make: Nothing is impossible, any man has the
power to do anything.

That would be all. Take care!
Anca
