I went last night to pick up the Best Of. Hastings was having a listening
party for U2, Beck, Alanis, and a couple of others that I can't recall.
Anyway, I'm sure you all know the drill-wait until midnight then buy the
disk.
At any rate, I was pleasantly surprised to find that most of the people
there were buying U2. I was actually shocked that in little old
Fayetteville, AR there were that many U2 fans.
The most exciting part was this guy who looked to be about 18 in line
behind me. He was sooo pumped up about the CD. He was talking about how
he had just ordered Zooropa, Boy, and R & H from cd now. Anyway, I was
pleased to see so many turn out and to see some people excited about U2; I
haven't seen that since Popmart.
