Here's my top 10 videos. And I consider all U2 videos among the very best,
surpassed maybe only by Peter Gabriel's or Bowie's works.
10. Hold Me Thrill Me Kiss Me Kill Me - it will outlive the movie, for sure!
9. One (Corbijn version) - for the antithesis between the Trabant and the
limo :)
8. Night And Day - or 'Bono as Byron'?
7. All I Want Is You - great story indeed... I think the girl dies in the
end...
6. Stay (Far Away So Close!) - since I still haven't seen the movie...
5. With Or Without You - the video I most wanted to see... and it was worth
waiting for!
4. Staring At The Sun (studio version) - it entered an international
contest in Romania... didn't win anything :)
4. Please (Corbijn version) - best clip of the year, in my opinion!
3. Numb - best (anti)electoral clip :)... it fitted the election campaigns
in my country, anyway
2. Lemon - true masterpiece... too many reasons why... (inserts, fleeting
images, MacPhisto)
and
1. Bullet The Blue Sky (studio version) :) - the best video they never
made... why, for Heaven's sake?
