This was said in a few posts yesterday, but it bears repeating,
IMHO. The new U2 album will be out before Dec. 31, 1999 (from my mouth
to God's ear, I hear you say), so all choices are a bit premature, don't
you think?
Aaron also pointed out a mystery as to the "limited edition"
numbering on the CD. I got mine in a sleepy little town in Pennsylvania,
which was in the USA the last time I checked, and my copy has a number
(7693, if you're dying to know). So, I was confused. Ahhh...then I
looked at the bottom of the CD on the back. "Made in Canada", it proudly
tells me. It sounded strangely like what I imagine the little kid's
voice would sound like, were he to say it. Maybe I have a limited
"Haunted Edition". (The release was on the first release day after Larry
Mullen, Jr.'s birthday, I mean, Halloween. Something to think about!)
Thanks Aaron! Now will you finally respond to my e-mail about
possibly getting the "Sweetest Thing" singles through you? (Am I the
wrong gender or something?)
