In Defense Of Francesco Donadel

Bootleggers like him offer their products on Wire because there
is a demand for it at that price. If no one from Wire bought, then he
would never post again. Same thing goes with Geraldo, Danny and the
rest. There would be no kidnappers if no one payed the ransom, or
something like that. So then we ask: What about those poor innoncent
little Wirelings who can't tell that they are being ripped off because
they are ignorant of CD-Rs and the costs? Well, the reply to that
would be in a "tangential" form: Ignorance of the law excuses no one
... so tough luck if you're not aware of the market forces.

Also, let us reslove doubts in favor of the "accused." In this
case, we are all so quick in pointing fingers, yet we have not seen a
single post saying Donadel has offered a bad quality product. So
before anyone actually gets ripped off, let us not flame the person.
Personally, I really like the mp3 sample of the Wembley nights he
emailed to me. Problem is that I personally find his price too steep
so now way am I getting. But some people might be willing to do so,
and if no one does so then there is no problem. If you don't ike the
bootleg prices then don't buy them. It is that simple.

So I say that all your warnings are premature. One cannot pass
judgement on anything if it hasn't affected anyone. Until Donadel
deos a "Danny Best" on us, he has done no wrong. Also, his posts
aren't reptitive like Geraldo or downright irritating like REdvette30.
He is a real person and he also posts U2 stuff and isn't an email
robot who automatically mails periodically a bootleg list to Wire.

Franceso is a real person just like us. Let us not hurt his
feeling before he has done any wrong. The right way to get back at
him is not to buy his boots. The wrong way is to pass judgement.
Until proven otherwise, the assumption is that he did indeed work hard
on those CD-Rs of his. The burden of proof is on those who assert
otherwise. Innoncent until proven guilty.

Cheers,

J

DISCLAIMER: This post is in no way siding with Franceso, as I've said
that even I am not buying boots from him. I just find the flaming
unfair. Francesco didn't pay me a single cent! (although I wish he
would give me some of his boots....heheheheh)
