<<I just made an awesome purchase! I got a Mini Disc Recorder/Player.
This beats the hell out of a CD burner. It is much cheaper, alot
easier, and IMHO ten times better. You can't scratch em, no
fingerprints, and I think they sound better! But we all have our
opinions.>>

I like my minidisc, but there's absolutely no way that it sounds better.
MiniDisc uses a compression to fit all that audio on such a small disc.
I think the compression ratio is either 4:1 or 5:1, I can't seem to
remember right now. I bought a minidisc recorder before I could put the
money down for a top of the line DAT recorder. Despite the lossy quality
it was sufficient enough at the time. The only reason why a lot of cdrs
don't sound good is the use of poor equipment/software and lack of
knowledge.

U2 content: I just received a DAT clone off the master of the Lisbon
Popmart. The quality isn't the greatest. I would say a cross somewhere
between Seattle and San Antonio. Nonetheless it is rare, so I'd like to
try to set up some rare trades for this show. (I'll put it on cd-r, or
make a dat clone)I have quite a bit of rarities, but if you have
something rare and would like to try to set up a trade let me know.
Maybe you have something I don't. Now a lot of you are going to say that
it isn't fair to not let this out to everyone, but there's a lot of rare
stuff that a lot of people won't let go of, so I need something to
bargain with... at least for awhile anyways. (For those who have
something "worthy", I'll provide a sound sample to prove it is from
Lisbon, so you know I'm not lying or anything.)
