A retraction

The following paragraphs seek to retract statements made by myself (Cathy
Offler) through Andrew Briscoe to Wire on the 30th of October 1998.
Certain statements have been acknowledged to be incorrect to a certain
extent and are therefore withdrawn.
Daniel Best has *not* ripped off or been sued by "almost every record store
in Adelaide" as stated by myself in that post. Information given to me
since my posting has indicated otherwise. However, be aware that at least
one case is on public record, settled in 1994.
Therefore the statements to that end should be disregarded and I apologise
for any undue harm caused to any persons involved in these matters.
