(parenthetical note to say thanks to all who e-mailed me with info about
the other lists. I had no idea there were so many. cu there)

I remember the days when the Rolling Stone was a part of the alternative
press...now it is slick and glossy and full of ads and women in all
kinds of poses on the cover...I'm not mad at them. They have a right to
make money...and to use whatever it takes to sell the product...I think
I've fallen into that 'things were better when I was young' trap.
The articles are ok...just not as gritty as I rememember them. Now I
only buy a copy if I know a specific artist is going to be featured.
..anyone know of a good music mag reminescent of the Rolling Stone in
it's glory days?
