RE: Is the price keeping people away?

Hello Wire.
I thought I would add my .2 cents ( which is about 1.5 cents American)
In Canada, GH is #1. We paid between $27.00 to $33.00 for it, so I am not
sure if it is the price which is keeping people in the States from buying
it. I have not heard one person of my acquaintance complain about the
price. I think we are happy to have it.
I am sure more could have been sold here in Canada. Just today I spoke to 3
people on my FLOOR at work who didn't realize the GH with B-sides was
available for one week. (They seem to think I can now get them a copy)

In regards to the selection. I am very happy with it. I am just pleased to
have a collection of B-sides on one disc. Whatever the band selects if Ok
with me. Yes, I have favourites too but I don't take it personally, or see
any of this as a scam that some songs are missing etc, or more albums may
come out .

In regards to more limited GH being released in America. I say right on! I
am not so obsessed with having a limited edition that I do not want to see
more people buy it and enjoying it. I got #22,087and 22,097in Canada but so
what? I still would have reserved 2 copies in advance as I did even if they
weren't limited or numbered. I got a thrill from popping into the store
with other people who appreciate U2. The girl ahead of me bought 5, I had 2
and the next three people behind me had several copies. All of us had a big
grin on our face.

NO Sweetest Thing single in US. That I don't understand. I really hope you
get to hear it on the radio. I have been requesting it at MTV for my
American Cousins.
It is very popular here. I catch people humming it or tapping their feet.
This morning we were anxiously awaiting our Friday Donut Delivery and ST
came on. Five of us were at my desk singing or humming it.

It has been a lot of fun seeing the results of the sales. People at work
are sending me e-mails or stopping me in the halls or elevator to say "Hey.
Heard U2 is #1". It has been enjoyable.

Anyway, just sit back and enjoy the CD. Spread the word! Be nice to each
other!

hey, let's all watch the video at a designated time and pretend it is one
more POPMART show we can be at together! Kidding!
