Wirelings one and all,

Lately, I've been listening to the two Tempe 87 shows (thanks Matt
and RD!) and have fallen in love with the live Mothers of the
Disappeared (El Pueblo version). I'm trying to decipher Bono's last
ad-libbed verse(s) which run something like 'mother mother lift me up,
mother mother fill my cup' etc etc. Bono seems caught up in a bit of
religious ecstasy, the 'speaking in tongues' thing. . Anyone have a
clue as to what he's saying? If so, can you share?
And to anyone who hasn't heard Bono's a capella version of Mothers
and his reading of a Spanish version, my advice is to track them down.
They're available somewhere online, but for the life of me I can't
remember where (thank god I downloaded them when I was surfing. . )
and thanks again to the web-owner who put the whole SFX radio
interview on his site (the vaxxine guy! :-) - you're as sweet as a
honey-dipped donut, yes you are! (sorry my southern accent seems to be
showing today. . . )
    anywho,
thanks in advance
