Under a red blood sky

Hi,

I just want to say the feeling I'd got last week. On Nov 9, I had what
Bono called 'a cynical mind' when finding there were no high voltage
energy on launching U2 GH here in Indonesia (especially in Bandung).
But soon at last, it was rejoiced by the time I got my own U2 GH on
regular version. The photographs are so stunning and the songs...you all
know they're absolutely great, perfectly matched and suited what the
terms of U2 means for.

At least, for what had happened in this country. Nov 13 would always be
remembered on all people's mind here as the 'friday bloody friday'.
Eight students died and hundreds of them were terribly injured by the
cold hands of the military. For the second time, they died on the street
to stand for the democracy for this country. We all grieved.
'And the battle's just begun. There's many lost but tell me who has won?
How long, how long must we sing this song?'
Yes, my friends, they took your life, but the could not take your pride.

Two days later our local television, as if they wanted to awake the
spirit again, replay the MTV classic that showed nothing but U2 for an
hour. Here, then, we could rejoice the feeling after hearing 'gloria',
'new year's day', 'pride' and yes, of course 'one'. This song that they
placed it on the last really made me think it over.

One love, one blood, one life, you got to do what you should.
One live, but we're not the same.
We got to carry each other, carry each other.
One...

Then I realized, we needed no any grand launches for U2 GH.
It's spoken for itself in the deep of our beaten hearts here.

love in the distance,
trirahayu
