Second, I have been assigned a research paper in which I must tell, from
the point of view of either a lawyer, a poet, a photographer, a film
producer, a musician, or a newspaper writer, my views of what the "American
dream" was for a certain decade. I'm going to do mine from the pov of a
musician in the 80's i think, and since I must include examples, I'm going
to use U2 because of their political and religious insights of America.
I need any info you guys can give me regarding the pov you think they had
in the 80's about the American dream. Specifics would be great (i.e.
lyrics from songs of this time.) This is crucial to my grade, but I'm also
interested in what you guys think. I'm really excited that I get to
actually use them for research purposes! I think it's time everyone I know
got to know them better! So if you would, please, send me info!!! I could
also use some websites where I can find pictures and audios, and even
videos of the guys.
