Hello, Wirelings!
I finally got my hands on a copy of U2's PopMart show live
from Mexico City. I've seen the first hour before - I watched it when
MTV aired it live in December of last year. By the way, I love the
editing in the PopMart video much more than the MTV version! When MTV
aired U2's show, they were only allowed to broadcast through "All I
Want Is You", which means that I missed "Sunday Bloody Sunday". When
I watched the video yesterday, I was so excited to see the Edge
perform SBS as a solo! He's so phenomenally talented! It was a real
treat hearing not only Edge's acoustic chords, but also his sweet
voice! :)
A quick question: Am I the only one who thinks that "Desire"
works better as a full-fledged rock number as opposed to the acoustic
PopMart version?
