Is there any "alternate version" or remix of any song in Joshua Tree
aside from the Streets singel edit? It seems like everything that was
released with the singles were b-sides? There is none that I have
heard of but I may be wrong.

Boy had the demos from U2-3. There was an all-instrumental track of
October, ditto for Unorgettable Fire. We all know about the alternate
take Of NYD, SBS, and Two Hearts in War. Under A Blood Red Sky had a
longer verion of one song with the "bring in the clowns". Rattle and
HUm had different versions of God Part II and Desire. All the 90's
albums had many different remixes per track.

So what's with the Joshua Tree album? Why isn't anything out at all?
Except for the Streets edit (which is so much like the original
anyway), there really isn't anything more there. What's the reason
for this? Why wasn't anything released at all (even in suceeding
albums)?

Cheers,

J
