WIREWORLD!

Coupla quick questions, before I totally have a nervous
breakdown...was this like live footage of one of U2 saying that or was
it a print quote? Has it infact been taken back as incorrect or
misleading by the source? Where was it BTW? *ARGH* Could this be
possible? Are U2 that stupid? (no flames) Is this indeed the end of the
world as we know it? Ok, ok, Im calming down now.... Well I guess that
just means every WIRELING has to buy like 10 or so copies each and give
them away as pressies to make sure that the next album *is*
successful.lol.

On A Side Note:
All this praise/flaming of MODSAVAGE is uneccessary....even more so
than the "Oh the GH is so imcomplete because...." threads. Its not U2
related (directly anyway), and posts *about* (as opposed to in reply to)
individual people should be kept to a minimum....bad traders/good
traders that kind of thing. Even if it's praise its a bit unfair to the
individual under the microscope. Now I've gone and added to the whole
thing....oh well.

I just love WIRE to death. I couldn't live without it, and I'm amazed
that there was ever a time when I wasn't on it. Sounds really corny and
fake(it isnt) I know, but sheesh you guys ROCK! Im proud to be a
WIRELING, even when everyone is fighting, and have made sone really good
friends through this crazy community. Personally I think too many of the
folks livin in WIREWORLD are dwelling in the negative and forgetting the
positive, or being way too nostalgic and forgetting about the great
possibilities for the future. Ive read many posts lately saying
something along the lines of "WIRE was so great during Popmart" or Zoo
TV, or when Zooropa was released, or whenever. It's U2 downtime (I dont
consider the GH anything that would count as "active" for U2...at least
as far as WIRELINGS are concerned), and this list is going to be pumping
yet again when the next album is released, when they tour again (and Im
clinging to my belief there *WILL* be another tour lol) and when there
is something that WIRELINGS can really sink their teeth into. The 102
posts on the day the GH was released is indication of whats to
come....I'm reminded of an Edge quote at this point: (I prob dont have
it exactly right, it was off the top of my head, but the sentiment is
the same) "I dont think our best work is behind us, I think its still
ahead of us. We are capable of saying it better, and of playing it
better." WIRE is like that. People come and go, we evlove grow and
change. The "good old days" are gone, but better ones are just around
the corner.

Wasted enough of everyones time,
