Hi, there ;-)

I haven't posted for ages.

income -

Yeah, right, Island would kick them just because Bono was on drugs. This is totally
insane. They are probably one of the most profitable band they have ever had!
Well, I don't know much about Island, or Polygram or the music industry, but I know
that drugs have never been an obstacle for an artist to work or sell records. Sorry
if I ignore something that there is to know about Island, but this was the first
thought that occurred to me when I read this.

why else do you think bono's nickname was
>Bono "Skag Head" Hewson by the recording studio staff?

Well, when I see the videos from the JT times I don't see a man who looked like
someone who was on heroin. I mean, he looked so healthy. When I think of heroin
addiction, I think of Kurt Cobain. He looked like someone who was on very heavy
drugs. Ok, maybe I'm too naive and Bono wore make-up to disguise it. (ha-ha-ha)
Anyway, I
think this is ridiculous.

I'd like to point out that, Bono doing drugs or not, it wouldn't change the way I see
him as a person and an artist. I'm not saying that story is ridiculous because "I
don't want to believe it". It's because it just doesn't sound true.
