Been a while ... hope everyone in the U.S. is having a good Thanksgiving
weekend. I want to say a public Thanks to everyone who has been keeping my
family in his/her thoughts and prayers lately. My Dad had a stroke last
week and it's been a difficult time. I just got back from a quick trip home
to Philly last night. Anyway, we could use all the thoughts and prayers we
can get at this point so if you have a moment, please say a prayer for my
Dad. Thanks.
I do have some U2 content, too. Saw an interesting item recently: a 6-CD
set called "Sessions". It was in a gold tin container, and included a
Achtung-era booklet. It appeared that the first two or three CDs were the
entire Salome set. The rest of the CDs appeared to be the various extra
tracks and remixes from all the CD singles during the Achtung Baby era. For
all I know, there may have been some live stuff in there, too. Each CD was
very attractive -- they looked like those Ultradisc releases from MFSL with
the black CD liners, but they had that AB-era font which said "Sessions" on
each disc. Has anyone ever seen this set before? The guy wanted $150 for
it. Comments?
Speaking of collecting, if you are a serious U2 collector -- of official
items, especially, but not strictly -- please email me in the next few
