>you've been hurt somehow, havent you?

you're assigning way too much self-importance here. . .stop flattering
yourself

>I say Bono didnt do drugs cuz I
>KNOW he didnt! havent you read the book "U2 at the end of the world"?
>bono clearly states he doesnt do drug/doesnt need them.

sure i've read "the gospel according to bill". doesn't mean he never did
drugs. in fact, one could take that quote to mean that he's tried them at
some point. obviously, that statement was the result of months, if not
YEARS, of hardcore experimentation with every form of drug known to man. we
all know bono would want to make a well-informed decision, after all. . .

>so before you go mocking us TRUE U2 fans, get a clue.

i tried my best not to mock the true u2 fans

just you

here's something for you to chew on:
to paraphrase bono, our purpose as fans isn't to kiss his ass, it's to kick
it. . .

>and i say i know. . .cuz I know some former addicts.

so you knew some idiots who allowed themselves to get sucked in and fall
prey to the temptaion offered by drugs as an easy means of escape from their
mundane existence. is it the drugs' fault? nah, you just knew some stupid
and/or weak-willed people who didn't know when to stop.

calm down, and be secure in the knowledge that you don't know squat

cheerio

ps: i'm sure ELIS would back me up on this
