Hey David, thanks for your great response! I am NOT a huge Eno
guy, YET, but I've been wanting to try out more of
his stuff. All i have right now is his collaborative effort with Robert
Fripp (some ambient album about "colors" or something). I may try
his "Tarot" (Is it an album entitled "Tarot"???)
(for Dave)

How is Eno's work with Roxy Music???
(for Dave)

Seriously (to the rest of WIRE), if you want to take a look into
what U2 does (and that is getting inspiration, ideas and then doing some
songwriting), get into ANYTHING obscure which U2 might mention
as an influence. Eno's (and Lanois's) influence is pretty heavy
on those UF and TJT recordings. I for one, am going to be buying
some Eno (or asking for Eno stuff for Christmas!!) They sort of
"soundscaped"
U2's brilliant artwork with another brush of their own. Eno and Lanois
should be able to put a "joy" stamp on U2's new album.
I've heard just enough Eno - ish work to know that he can
"paint" feelings with music on to a person's soul!!

Eno/Lanois/U2 - the perfect combo!
You get the coolness of Bono and The Edge (and Larry and Adam) and
the "soundscaping" of Eno/Lanois!
