What if you knew you were going to die at some particular point, be it from,
say, the end of the world, your own incurable disease, a madman pointing a
gun at your head, or any of a myriad other things that could effect your
demise--what U2 song would you want to hear last, before you expire? Strange
question, I know, coming from a strange person. But it's something that's
going to happen to all of us, one way or another, and it might not cross
your mind when the time comes, so I'm asking it now, while you're still
alive and well.
I would probably like to hear 'One.' Or maybe 'Streets.' It's a tough
choice. I guess it depends on the 'mood' of that particular, final point,
too, for songs, like moments, have many different moods to them. Anyway,
something to think about before you cross that next intersection....
