I think this is just a really close friendship thing...if you read
Flannagan's books, the arguments in the band tend to do the Bono/Edge
vs. Adam/Larry thing. In fact, the sides are called the hats and the
haircuts a lot. Maybe the two are just really close friends. Just
because my gay friend has grabbed my ass and kissed me (and I didn't run
screaming) doesn't make me gay; it just means I'm comfortable enough to
show and accept affection without it having to be sexual.
