ok, so first of all. *sigh* while i admire your techniques and tenacity
in breaking his post down nearly line by line, i have to say
something...am i the ONLY one who noticed the tongue-in-cheekedness of J's
post? maybe i'm overestimating him, i don't know. *shrug* if just seems
to me he was trying to be a funny guy. it didn't work, but it's
definitely an E for effort. *laugh* he was baiting us intelligent
wire-readers, and some people, um, fell for it. *shrug* i can just see
his little punkass sitting back laughing at the hullabaloo he created.
notice he hasn't posted anything in response to your responses? he's
amused as hell. which sucks. next time ignore him!! he's a prick with
too much free time on his hands and too retarded to realize that he's just
as pathetic about all of this as the rest of us...i mean, he obviously
subscribes to wire, so he probably reads it...*shrug* whatever. god, now
i'm bothering with him. ugh. i say ignore him.

and let's see...first of all i was shopping today and i saw some
interesting stuff...first was a sarajevo popmart bootleg called "prmise
kept"...now, i REALLY REALLY wanted this. so i listened to it, and disc
two was fine, soundwise. i guess Bono's vocals were a little muffled,
overpowered by the music (which sounded fab), but other than that....but
the first disc! holy shit. HORRIBLE. the sounds was....like, when
you've got a wire connected to something, and it's not quite connected all
the way, and you bump it and the sound goes in and out? really quickly?
for almost the whole disc? ugh. i was PISSED. :P wasn't paying no 45
bucks for that. *sigh* but they have another sarajevo boot, but it was
on hold for someone, so i'm going back tomorrow to see if i can get it or
if it's still on hold or what....

they also had a ton of other interesting stuff..."grapes"...a prop CD, one
i'de never seen before. they always have TONS of the prop remix
CDs....i'm guessing not the genuine article, but what the hell. *shrug*
they also had a one disc deael called "heartbeat"...anyone know anything
about this? i listened to a few tracks but decided i didn't really, uh,
NEED it. *shrug* 3 tracks it said were previously unreleased? "alone on
a silent planet" or something like that? anyone?

what else....i ended up buying (lameness of all lameness) "under a blood
red sky"...i've never had it on CD! ;) i was excited. i've been so
amused with party girl ever since i got the GH CD, and tried to listen to
the, ahem, early incarnation of it on there. god, that's horrible. i
can't even listen to it! *shudders* but the UABRS version is one of my
fave U2 live performances.....crazy.

oh, and they had the japanese 2disc GH set...it has "one tree hill" on the
GH disc...here's my question, is "october" still a hidden track? (sorry
to ruin it for anyone who didn't know...)
