For some fans it does matter. U2 to me kinda broke the stupid rock/drugs/sex
cliche...and it would effect my view of them if I found out that any of them
are regular cocaine, heroin, crack..whatever users. I do hold u2 to a higher
standard...higher than alot of other rock n' roll artists..but that is because
they have set that standard for themselves. No im not going to disown their
music, but I would be disappointed to hear that they were druggies...and that
is my choice.....any band that chooses to sing about the tragedies of drug
abuse, and abuses it themselves must know they are putting their integrity
atleast a bit in question.
