I don't mean to tick off anyone on wire, but I would just like to say
that people should spend more time worrying about their own lives as
well as the lives of their friends and family than the lives of rock
stars. Don't get me wrong, I love U2 and much of what is posted on wire
(I read and post from time to time). However, for a person to pattern
one's life after another human being merely because he writes great
music or plays a great guitar rift is foolish. For one, no human is
perfect nor has anyone ever lived a perfect life (other than Jesus
Christ; He is the only one to pattern one's life after). Bono is an
admirable person, but he is far from perfect. He makes mistakes just
like we do. If Bono has done drugs, that's between him and the Lord.
If he continues to do drugs, that's still between him and God. We
should merely pray for him, not glorify his drug use simply because he
is a rock star. I urge each and everyone who reads wire to consider
Christ as the one and only example for living. He is our pattern and
the way to eternal life. Bono claims to be a Christian, and I pray that
