Ai, I'm sorry, I forget who brought the EW thing up. Was it Mia?
Okay, Mia--
My mother and I had a huge argument about that stupid article.
I was like, "Yeah, he wrote 'Sweetest Thing' for his wife, isn't
that precious?" and she was like "No, his daughter. His daughter,
Ali." It took us forever to straighten things out. Kind of sad,
but these are the things my mother and I choose to fight over. ; )
Anyway, the thing is magazines, even weekly magazines, are usually
behind on printing. A monthly periodical that comes out in
whatever month has been written one, maybe two months in advance.
I think EW is about 2-3 weeks behind schedule. If EW's correction
doesn't appear in the next issue or the one after that, then
they're being bastards who aren't admitting their silly mistake.
But it's too soon right now, I think. (I have to know all this; I
plan to write for the Rolling Stone some time very soon ; ).

And speaking of Rolling Stone, someone mentioned the cover from...
'85 was it? where a journalist said Larry was the only "Cute Guy"
in the band? I think that was just an early impression of U2.
Remember, early '80's articles about our boys still referred to
Bono as Bono Vox and made sure to clarify that his real name was
Paul Hewson, that the Edge was a nickname and that his REAL name
was Dave, etc. Anyway, about two years later with JT, Bono won
"sexiest male singer" two years in a row, I think, in RS's Reader's
Poll. I think he was on the list the two years AB was still on the
charts as well. They better recognize Bono's beauty!

Anyway, la la la.
xoxo, Callie
