New thread/thought: What if the members of U2 went solo?????

Good morning Wire,
I was thinking the other day, as I listened to Pop for the umpteenth
time cranking Mofo with my volume to the max on my stereo...U2 have come a
long way, and each of the band members have grown very adept in their
musical abilities since Boy was released all those years ago. And then I
thought, what if, for some unknown reason, the group decided to go their
separate ways and try new things for each of them? I'm not advocating,
predicting, or claiming such an event occured or will occur (obviously this
list would have 5 million posts on if it did), but do you ever wonder, if it
did, what Bono, Edge, Larry, and Adam would do? What direction each would
go musically? Would they form other bands? Would they leave the music
scene altogether? Just a thought...but it made me curious so I thought I
would throw it out for discussion. Talk amongst yourselves...
