I've been listening nonstop to the Late Late Show's "All I Want Is You."
It's gotta be one of the most beautiful things they've done. Bono sounds
like an angel. He's the Voice, man, he's the Good Voice...
North and South of the River is--oh, unspeakably gorgeous too. And I can
hear it all on U2 Radio! Yay!
Anyway, St. Louis Wirelings: Les Aaron on the Point has been playing U2
constantly on the Retro Lunch. I just popped an email off to him and
encourage any likeminded folk to likewise express their appreciation. You

Subject No. 3: On the subject of Bono's beauty, I have a young friend who
I'm steadily indoctrinating into U2. When she first saw Bono, she couldn't
understand how anyone could possible find him physically appealing. But
now that she's gotten into the music, she (somewhat grudgingly) understands
the attraction. She still shakes her head about it--"How can _he_ be
thought of as beautiful?" but answers her own question with one word:
"Charisma."
