As far as Bono's voice being worse than it used to be, he's always had good
days and bad days. His technique is certainly better now, though. On a good
day he'd blow screaming Bono off the stage. I agree with you that Mexico
City was one of the bad ones and I wish they'd released a better show.

I noticed an interesting thing about his voice and Edge's too. When I was
standing at the rail, a few feet from them, Bono didn't sound too good that
night. I was sorta shocked when he first started singing because he didn't
sound like himself at all. Edge, on the other hand, sounded beautiful to me
at that distance. When I got a video of that same show, though, it was
reversed: Bono sounded as good and as much like himself as ever while Edge
sounded kinda shaky. Keep in mind that they were both sick so this isn't an
appraisal of their singing in general. At all. Because I could go on for
days about The Edge's vocal contribution to their music. I wonder if Bono
just knows how to use the microphone to his advantage.
