I really don't understand it when someone says/thinks/whatever
something like that...fair 'nuff WIRE arguments are 99.9% of the time
stupid and usually offensive or at the very least abrasive to most of
the people involved (and everyone reading), and I'll conceed that they
get out of control, that peoples sesnes of humor can be extremely warped
(or non existant)...*but* since they aren't about the music I don't see
how the enjoyment of the music can be impaired by them. When I listen to
one of the songs mentioned in the latest drugs war (hehe sounds like a
police action) I dont make the connection to WIRE, Im to busy listenin
to the way Bono says this word, or that word, or Edge's guitar, the way
the bass and drums blend so perfectly you cant tell whats what, and all
the other things that make U2 such a fantastic band. Aprreciating the
music is a frame of mind I guess, WIRE really doesn't affect that unless
you allow it to. I can understand the need to leave WIRE, but not the
reason stated. In the same breath its none of my business so I'm just
gonna shut up now.
