Has anyone else noticed how quickly ticket prices have risen since
PopMart?
Remember all the bitching from the media (even at the KMart press
conference) for U2 pricing their tickets at $35 and $50? now they're
referring to Springsteen's proposed $55 ticket as 'reasonably low
priced' ! ! !
I was thinking about going to see Barenaked Ladies play live at a
college up the road from me, but $28 general admission seems a little
steep. The next night at the same college is a double-header like Cherry
Poppin' Daddies and whoever it was in the 80s that did 'Blister in the
Sun' - tix were $52! man, I know the economy's good and all, but there
ain't *that* much money floating around. . . !
