My name is Jamie and I'm new to this list. For starters, I went to Jamaica
this summer on a cruise, and went for a tour through the rainforests. We
got to see Iam Flemmings house (from all the James Bond movies) and I
didn't think it was that big of a deal. But . . . I just got a new U2
book, about all their songs and meanings, and I guess that Bono and Ali
spent their honeymoon at that house and he wrote, "Two Hearts Beat as One"
there. Just thought that was cool.
Now my questions:
Does anyone out there know where I can find information on U2 songs that
have to do with tempo, meter, melody, dynamics, tonality, harmony, and
texture?
I have to do a report for my music appreciation class and I am thinking of
using New Year's Day, SBS, or Pride (cause there is so much meaning behind
them).
If anyone knows a website address, or book, or has any information, I
would greatly appreciate it.
