The baby picture of Bono at the beginning of Legends, with the blond curls
- I would have recognized that baby right away because of the eyes! The
same beautiful Bono eyes I see everytime I look at the most beautiful man
in the world were right there on that little blond haired baby. This was a
good show - true, it didn't tell me anything I didn't already know, but it
did show some great pictures and video I had not seen before. The "I Will
Follow" video is one of my favorites, because I love the way Bono looks and
I love the way he dances on it!

When asked if only U2 fans thought Bono was HOT, my reply was "To know Bono
is to love Bono", a sentiment that has been echoed by almost everyone. Then
I started thinking about the very first time I ever saw him. It was love at
first sight, which negates my initial response. I have loved U2's music
since War, however for a long time I knew nothing about the band or even
what they looked like. (I didn't have cable TV, and didn't have time to
brouse magazine racks unfortunately) Believe it or not, the first time I
ever saw the fabulous foursome was when Rattle and Hum came out. My very
first glimpse of Bono was to the tune of Helter Skelter, and I was totally
mesmerized, hypnotized. When the film was over, I couldn't even move or
speak, in a trance-like state. As soon as I left the theatre, I went about
the business of obtaining anything and everything U2 that I could get my
hands on. I wanted to know everything that man had ever said, thought or
did. Obsessive? Yes. Apologies? No.

Elena said it perfectly, and I think of this every day - My heart beats his
name.

Bono lover,

Stacy
