When I watched Legends--and I watched it twice--I went through the same
experience I had when I became a U2 addict in 1983. It was the "Sunday
Bloody Sunday" video from Red Rocks. I remember being so mesmerized I
didn't think about anything else--the rest of the world was blocked out.
It was an incredible experience. I'd first ventured around rock'n roll
as a kid in 1971 when my older brother started listening to the Beatles,
the Stones, and the Yardbirds. Those groups were all fantastic, and I'd
absolutely put U2 on the same level. The funny thing is that my older
brother never became a U2 fan. He never got out of the '70's musically.
I sure did, being four years younger. It was such a treat getting to see
the "Livie Aid" perforomance again-- another one for the story books. I
was fortunate enough to see the Conspiracy of Hope and the JT tour, and
those were great memories, too. I could go on and on but I have to work
today dammit! Thank you, Bono, Edge, Larry, and Adam!

Pax,
Patricia
