I was gathering information off the web for my up-coming final exams
(instead of reading the assigned books)...and came across this poll
for TIME, asking people to vote for who they think is the Person of
the Century. Now, before everyone goes and votes for Bono (that really
wasn't my purpose of bringing this up - but you obviously can if you
want), there are some asinine tallies so far. Now, I won't mention
who's number one because I'll save myself the need to discuss how
ridiculous the poll is right now and avoid flames....but, all I'll say
is that Sarah McLachlan has over 10,000 votes so far. For - Person of
the CENTURY. That's not even the worst of it....Reagan pulled in about
13,000....and well Billy Graham is even higher than that...so, ahhh,
you get my point. Real positive influential people - i.e. Lennon,
King, Elvis (Your name here:__________) ...don't make the list at all.
So...maybe you'll feel like putting in your opinion when you decide to
avoid working on important, relevant things...here:
