I remember Bono's quoting Bob Dylan about the
memorability/importance of certain songs. I wish I knew the full quote,
but Dylan said something like "...the best songs are the healing ones"
or "...the healing songs are the best ones." After reading the most
recent Wire, I'd have to say to U2, "Mission accomplished."

I believe it was in a Rolling Stone issue vaguely around the time of
"The Joshua Tree". Thank you!
P.P.S. If I get any more nice e-mails privately from our readers Down
Under, I am going to learn the words to "Waltzing Matilda" and seriously
consider emigrating to Australia! :)
