I have to tell you all about my bucks night last Saturday.
Firstly we went to the cricket and then to my Dad's for a barbeque. It was
here that I had a pair of red horns placed on my head!!!
I knew that we were going to Paddy Hannans, an Irish pub, for copius
amounts of Guinness. What I didn't realise was that my transport to the pub
was a shopping trolley, my own POPMART stage. My mates took me to Popmart
again!! The trolley had a 2m towering golden arch at the back, I had my own
2m cocktail stick with stuffed olive, and I had 3 lemons handed to me. On
the front of my trolley was a huge sign saying "POPTART"!!!!So there I was
sitting in my trolley with my MacPhisto horns on, in my very own popmart
stage, being wheeled round the pub and the casino!!!
WOOHOOOO!!!!
The only bad thing was being handcuffed to my groomsman for 2 hours. We
received some very interesting comments and looks on the occasions that we
had to make toilet trips. Use your imagination and picture us, you'll know
what I mean.
So there you have it, what a night. I never made it backstage at the
concert, but I had my own stage!!
Off with the horns, on with the show!!
Thanks to my mad U2 friends for doing it. We did it in style
