WIREWORLD!

There are so many songs I'd love to hear U2 do live....and quite a few
I think they should quit playing, at least for awhile. Songs like Still
Haven't Found, Streets yes even WOWY have been done to death! I was
impressed by the re-birth of SBS at Popmart, and would definately like
to see that again in future tours (perhaps as a combination Bono Edge
effort, not just backup - a real duet). Some of the other songs I'd just
love to hear live: So Cruel, The First Time, Zooropa, Acrobat, Playboy
Mansion, Do You Feel Loved? (I know it was played at *some* of the
Popmart shows...), God Prt II, Hawkmoon, Stories For Boys......basically
anything that U2 don't usually do. Most importantly.....bring back
Gloria!

If theres one song that if U2 covered would make me so eternally
grateful I'd feel compelled to fly to Ireland to thank them personally
it would have to be, 'Let It Be'. Such a beautiful song...and so very
*Bono*. Maybe a nice quiet accustic version with prominent bass (like a
heartbeat) and no lead guitar (Edge on piano). Well thats how I envision
it anyway.

Am I crazy or does it sound like Bono is either laughing or trying
hard not to laugh during the line "I'd hold back these tears" and then
again a bit in the next line of 'Christmas (Baby, please come home)'?

Mother Mary comes to me,
Speaking words of wisdom,
Let It Be."
