Driving under the influence....

Have any of you guys gotten any speeding tickets while listening to U2?
I am *shocked* it hasn't happened to me yet.

I remember the first (and last ticket) I got. It was right after prom,
and my friend Natalie and I were driving to a friend's place. Rage
Against the Machine came on the radio, and we just turned into MANIACS!
I was goin' crazy- "I saw these guys! They opened for U2!!!" I was so
stoked, I quit payin' attention to my speed. I was goin' 78 mph along
the Pacific Coast Highway.........in a 45 mph zone. :( Uuuuuuh oooooh.
I got pulled over and buuuuuusted!

Anyway, I just can't believe I haven't gotten busted recently, because
if Rage makes me drive fast, you wouldn't believe how I drive when I
listen to U2- my most favorite band in the whole wide world! The other
day I had Streets on, and was rockin' out, poundin' on my steering
wheel, beltin' out "BURRRRRRRRNING down loooove! BURNING down love!!!"
Then I looked at my spedometer, and was like, "....whoa! Better slow my
ass down..." That song just gets me all hyper and makes me
speeeeeeeeeed! It's fun. :) But.....I know it's not safe. I need to
stop. But Edge's guitar and Larry's drums and Adam's bass and Bono's
singing and lyrics.....EVERYTHING in that song is just *intense* and
makes you sing at the top of your lungs and go fast fast FAST! Mofo
makes me speed too. And Pride. And Acrobat, Holy Joe, I Will Follow,
Ultraviolet, Even Better Than the Real Thing, Wire, Sunday Bloody
Sunday, New Year's Day, Discotheque, Rejoice, Last Night on Earth, ALL
KINDS of upbeat, fast U2 songs!!! Geez.....if I'm not careful....I'm
gonna get a DUI-U2 (driving under the influence of U2)!

Anyway y'all, I'm outta here. Just had to vent about all that, and just
wondering if anyone knows what the hell I'm talkin' about....

Later! ;)
