If by "intro" you mean the music that opens the video--yep, it's true.
(Just needed to clarify this--some folks have gotten the mistaken
impression that Clannad were in fact U2's opening _act_!) The song used
is "Theme from 'Harry's Game'". U2 also used Clannad's "Caislean Or" from
_Macalla_ as the "outro" music after the concerts on the '87 tour (or at
least the ones I saw...)

P.S. Speaking of "outro" music (what gets played on the PA after the
concert ends), has anyone noticed that the song played after the Love Town
shows (again, the ones I saw over in Europe) was the Neville Brothers'
version of "A Change is Gonna Come"? It can't have been _deliberate_, but
that's kind of an *interesting* title, in light of that tour's effect on
the band, and the whole dream-it-all-up-again sentiment that came from
it...
