Mr. Intergalactic Bono,

I bow down to your infinite wisdom as you humbly teach me the
ways of the world. However, I must object. I'm not ignorant as
to how the "two types of nations" (only two types?) operate.
I disagree with our inconsistent foreign policies.

The military in Rowanda has murdered close to, what is it now,
320,000 of its people? A similar slaughter is taking place in
Algiers. I could go on (as you KNOW). We barely sneezed
at the discomort of those and their families who were massacred.

Hussein was the U.S.'s puppet for many years. We cheerfully
supplied him with weapons while in his war with Iran (how's
that for a big show of ethics!) We also sold arms to Iran so we
could keep that little war going. G.E. helping to "bring good things
to life" while making billions. Some of those dollars that will
cycle back to someone's lucky political campaign.

"The Fire This Time" is a book that details the war crimes claim.
It's not a bad read. However, given your position, I'm sure you're
not a fan of people like Ramsey Clark, Noam Chomsky, etc.

Mr. Intergalactic Bono, I would be happy to chat more privately.
I felt a need to rebut your post.

Tina

P.S. I will concede that "Until the End of the World" followed
"Unchained Melody," as Jerry Hart also pointed out my error.
Thanks Jerry.
