I was listening to the Joshua tree the other day and i got to
Running to Stand Still and i got thinking to myself.I said self,why
isn't running to stand still on the Greatest Hits CD.I would have gladly
traded When Love Comes to Town for running to Stand Still.Maybe it
should have been the hidden song instead of October.Does anyone else
feel that RTSS should've been on the GH Cd?Then again it probably would
have done them even more justice to just take every album from
Boy-Rattle and hum and put them all together and say every song is a
greatest hit.At least to the dire U2 fan.I love the Greatest Hits CD and
the Bsides i got the firstcopy of it where i live.
I must admit to being a new bred fan....while watching the Rattle and
Hum video with my parents i got hooked when Bono did his speech on
Silver and Gold And i couldn't get enough of Edge's solo..i picked up my
guitar and taught it to myself afterwards.I began looking everywhere for
all the Cd;s I found Zooropa at a little record shop for three bucks.I
bought Pop a few days later(one of my favorite albums btw)I found the
rattle and hum tape at that same store for three bucks.Then i got the
Joshua tree,Unforgettable Fire and the Greatest Hits and Bsides.But
alas...i still need War,October,Boy and the ever elusive Passengers
album.But i know as long as i keep looking...ill find what im looking
for.
