I don't know a lot about Irish politics...but the sentiment that the
Irish would be better off under British rule has a hauntingly familiar
ring to it...once upon a time there were people here making the claims
that the people of African descent were better off as slaves...or better
off when they stayed in the back of the bus....I'm not making that up
either...
