It was actually pointed out to me that the whole mountains and sea
thing is a biblical passage. I don't recall where it's at. If I
remember correctly (probably not) it isn't as similar as the Ben E
King/U2 thing. Leading me to wonder at least whether Bono took the
lyric from Ben E King (did he write Stand By Me?) or the Biblical
passage. He seems rather fond of both.

I was listen to the Unforgettable Fire song and this one
part of the song hit me "And if the mountains should
crumble or disappear into the sea... I had just
happened to be listen to Led Zeppelin II before and in
their Thank You song there is a line "When the mountains
crumble to the sea.." I thought that U2 might have made
a refernce to Led Zep in their music. Maybe, what do you all think?
