I think the Unforgettable Fire lyric probably was inspired by "Stand By Me"
as opposed to Zeppelin. The only member of U2 who has acknowledged Zep as
an influence is Larry (and I think that came around the time of AB). For
the record, Robert Plant has openly acknowledged borrowing lyrics from
"Stand By Me" in "Thank You."
