This may or may not be of little interest to you, but the individual
dancing during the remix is in fact a hermaphrodite (this is a real
term, and not intended to offend anyone.) This means she/him has both
female and male characteristics (they are born this way). I do not know
the significance of including him/her in the show, other than to express
the unisex-ness of our culture. FWI, many of the songs on POP are
clearly from a woman's point of view, others are clearly from a male
point of view, and still others are ambiguous. Including the
hermaphrodite into the mix might just be saying we are all the one.

I am glad you asked such an interesting question. Questions such as
these make it possible for this list to be used to have interesting,
intelligent conversations of subjects that interest us and U2. Let us
make this year a year where WIRELINGS use this list to improve
themselves and their minds. No more flame wars. No more turning your
noses up at others. No more closed minds. No more!!!!! Thanks and God
Bless. -----Adrian
