Secondly - I've just come back from a short trip to Dublin City (over the St.
Stephens day holiday - blimey - was it windy!). The first pub we went in (in
Temple Bar) was playing "Sunday Bloody Sunday". We couldn't get into the
Clarence - probably looked too scruffy! Next day we caught a bus from Howth to
the city centre - and the bus driver was playing a U2 compilation tape! Cool.
Anyone planning a visit - I'd recommend the open top bus tour......and the
visit to a certain brewery!
Next stop on my world tour is Australia, and I was wondering (hoping!) that
any Wirelings in Sydney could point me in the direction of any U2 type events
on the days around Australia Day? Please answer privately to avoid wasting
space here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
