In the current issue of Psychology Today it says that poets (and I
believe they mean serious, professional poets) have an mental illness
rate of 77%, compared to 35% for the general populace. Musical
composers have about a 55-65% rate, so that's a little less of a chance
for our boys to go out of their jugs sometime.
