Has anyone out there heard a U2 song or thought of them at a strange
time? For example, I was with my grandmother at Furr's today--you know,
where the piano plays very sleepy music and no one eats with their real
teeth?--well, the radio was on a local pop station and I was surprised
to hear Shania Twain's "Still the One" playing, and I tried really hard
not to fall off my chair in hysterical laughter when "I Still Haven't
Found What I'm Looking For" came over the speakers and into the ears of
all these older people. Call me disrespectful, but I don't mean anything
by it and it was really funny, but I got this picture in my head of
several old people on their hands and knees searching for their lost
spectacles singing that song.
