another conversion

oh this news is so exciting to me, yes, its true, i beLIEve that yet another
person has been converted!
the story is, friday night my friend and i were watching PoP live from
Mexico, and my friend, she invited two boys over. well, they didn't have a
specific liking to U2 that we knew of, so we warned them that we would be
watching (ok drooling over) a U2 video. they were like, OK fine.
well, they arrived right at the beginning of Pride. they sat down, and
since she and i were practically glued to the screen, it was all they could do
but to watch it.
one of the guys recognized the song, and started to really pay attention. he
said of Bono, "that guys stage presence is AMAZING!" well from that point on,
he did not take his eyes of the tele. he even was telling my friend and i to
be quiet so he could hear! ha ha! he could not stop talking about the
incredibleness of the songs, how good the bass player was (of course we all
know that), and how together the members of the band were. and Bono really
had him starstruck. i think he said "that guy is the PIMP" about 50 times :)
keep in mind, he is not even a marginal U2 fan before this incident. so to
wrap up the story, U2 has captured the heart soul and mind of yet another
person. YAY.
one more thing, theres this guy at my church who i swear must be Edge's
long lost twin brother. he's even the same age as Mr. The Edge! we had him
put on a skull cap, and the resemblence was unbeLIEvable! so now we call him
"EDGE"
